Q: Menstrual period one month and not next

If someone had protected intercourse at the end of their period and then the next month 25 days later had a normal period that lasted 5 days. Then if the next month hasn't had one and is about 10 days late could they be pregnant. Also took a pregnancy test about three days ago. The test was negative.
