Im 23yrs old and a month a ago i started the pill because i had been menstrating for 6 months straight. The pill stopped my period and when i started my 7 remind pills of the first pack i started my period as I should, only now my period has become extemely heavy. I've started my new pack of pills and to date have had 4 of the active pills, shouldnt my period be slowing down by now? it only seems to get heavier with each day, Im also in anti-coagulants, could my heavy period be caused from my blood being too thin?

Why were you menstruating for 6 months? Do you have some kind of condition?

Yes, the pills should be slowing down your period, but your case is unique and needs to be assessed by a doc!

Pills should be making your period lighter and shorter. I would talk to your doctor and see whats up.
