Only showing when I wipe myself, nothing on towel. Definately not pregnant, please could you help.

It could be pre-menopause. I'm 44 and thought I was pre-menopausing because I was having hot flashes and I had my period twice in June. My doctor said if I was pre-menopausing I would have skipped my period like you have. You might want to go visit your GYN. They can do a blood test to see if you are in pre-menopause. Many women start in their early 40s, even younger.

Yes it is. Like I said, that's what I thought was going on with me but apparently I was wrong. I had a horrible pain in my cervix when he examined me and I'm scheduled for an ultrasound on Friday. Hopefully everything will be fine but it's never good to assume.

I agree with Raven. What happens is that in the beginning stages of menopause the blood work doesn't show the changes so they say it's not menopause when we all know that it is. These doctors are just getting worse and worse.

And also, the doctors seem to have a problem with the fact that women are going through menopause younger and younger. The textbooks say you go through it usually in your late forties and fifties. What they fail to tell women is that some can start in their 30's and even younger in some with other medical problems, and the whole process can take up to ten years to complete! Took me 10 years starting at 35!
