well got the news confirmed today im in menopause. my doctor told me that even though the receptionist told me two days ago my blood works were normal, they are not looking for what he needed checked.
im happy now because it worried me that there was something wrong. my advise now when you have blood works taken always see your doctor for follow up results. hey ho here is too happy menopause.? wish i could say the same for hot flushes and night sweats lol.

Hi Honey: Hope that you found the information that you wanted...My husband thanks you in talking some sense into me about possibly using a cane...The golfing all those years killed me, but it was so much fun beating my 20 year old son...

I think it is so wonderful being able to converse with another woman from far across the Pond and feel the closeness that you can feel...I read your posts too...I send you all my love....

Hi Ioka--poor thing--I am just coming out of the change..I began early with a hysterectomy but still had ovaries-little good they did me though..Anyways--you may want to see if you can pick up some light weight clothing..I kept a fan at work for months and drink plenty of water..Now that those horrible surges are gone I use a heater-what can I say..
My husband tried cracking jokes when all the flashes began whenin dead of winter I had my hand sticking out the car window so I could use it to cool down--he didn't laugh to long..I gave him the look and he stopped..LOL..It is miserable though..The docs offered me hormones but I refused them as I felt they had too many problems that could occur..
I don't sweat so for me the flashes and night sweats that didn't make me sweat were absolutely horrible..All I do is get clammy, I'm about this close(----)to needing a cooling suit but I watch my time outdoors and keep a hose ready if I overdo it..
Hang in there honey I promise it does fade out and you could WHEW..
