Menopause and dry eyes

For years I've been living with the inconvenience of dry eyes and I never thought to link it to menopause. When I casually brought it up with my doctor he told me that it was actually very common and easy to treat. Unfortunately the eye drops he gave me (restasis I think they were called) didn't work for me. I'm thinking of participating in a clinical trial I found hoping I can get some relief. Thought I should share in case anybody else had the same problem.
