I'm a fifteen year old female who on November 3, randomly started feeling bad. I have a had a high fever that comes and goes, a headache that barely allows me to stand, pressure in my head and on my spine. I have had random shots of pain all over my body and i have even on occasions gone numb. I do not have the rash. On my uvula i have purple dots. I went to the doctors Wednesday (yesterday) and the following was performed. All came back negative: a strep culture, a chest x-ray checking for pneumonia, an influenza test for h1n1 and regular flu. I also had a cbc done and my white blood cell count was 17. After all the tests were performed and came back negative, i was forwarded to the emergency room to have a spinal tap. The spinal tap was performed and afterwards, the pressure i had been having on my spine decreased and then came back today. My headache also came back today, even though my fever has not. I have a history of not running fevers whenever i have major sicknesses though (i.e. scarlet fever and pneumonia). The tap also came back negative, though. Personally, i'm not a doctor and i have no idea what to do or what to think. The doctors i have been going to seem to be happy receiving negatives, except i have been feeling worse and worse. Any opinions on whether or not this is a false negative? Or even any opinions on what it could be?

p.s: my fever ran to 102.3

thanks [:
