Men can not have sickness and other characteristic signs as a consequence of pregnancy, because they can not get pregnant under normal natural circumstances. However, men can have these signs as a result of other diseases and conditions. Moreover, men (especially fathers-to-be) could feel empathy towards their pregnant female partners (or mothers-to-be in their nearest surroundings) and therefore these men could present themselves with the same symptoms as these women, caused psychologically (but this is only a state of mind, presented outwards).
You can not tell which sex the baby is, only by his/her left or right position in the womb. You could ask your gynecologist during your next follow up when s/he does an ultrasound check up, among other important things for your baby’s health and well being, also to check whether your baby is a male or a female, although this is not 100% sure, because the baby could be positioned in a way that might be impossible for the gynecologist to see his/her genital organs. The sex of an unborn baby can be revealed by genetic tests, but these are performed only in rare, strictly medically indicated cases, because of their cost and the possible risk for the mother and her baby.
