Thank You many times over for this post. Sorry I didn't see it sooner.
I have family and friends who have served or are serving currently.
Others have served in the past wars.
You are right no matter what your belief is in the end it is about our soldiers they are our family also. I will fly a flag until every last soldier is home.
I also have my family military flag up and it will not come down either.
I notice how many people stopped flying flags and not tying yellow ribbons around trees either.
The soldiers need our support not just now but when they come home, so many are suffering from PTSD. It's heart breaking to see what has happened to the people I love so much.
They are not the same as they left.
I still and always will love them after all they were doing a job to make our world better.
Please everyone think about the soldiers and their families.
Fly your flags not only on holidays but everyday.
If you see a soldier, a vet say thank you, a smile and nod trust me they will know what you mean.
Many of them are feeling alone, the families are having a hard time understanding what has happened to them also.
lonestarguy....thank you again from the bottom of my heart....I'm a mom of a soldier.
