Q: Meds to stop contractions ?

i just recently went into preterm labor about a wk ago now at 35 wks my doc has done everything he can to stop my contractions and nuttin wrks...ive been on nomourous meds and have two ? for you..first at the hospital i was almost at a 4 in dialation and 60p percent thin but when i went bk to him he told me i was at a 1 again and barely thinned out is that even possible to go bkwards? and second all the meds he has had me on such as magnesium...brethine...and procardia can they affect my baby as well as they have me?
