Howdy...

I hope all is well with whomever reads this message! I'm doing OK. I would like to be doing better but, I'm patient and the lord is good and he will come through.
I have a multi-part question. I desire an answer from someone with experience or a doctor who has seen patient who have had experience similar.

I've had episodes of anxiety for about 8 years. I say episodes because, USUALLY, after 2-3 weeks, they go away! However, I've been stuck in this episode since the beginning of December. I've been on Paxil for it for about 7.5 years. I believe this episode started through a combination of things (shift work, consuming way too much caffeine and bad sleep hygiene). My question is 2-pronged: What's been the length of your longest episode? Did it go away after a while? If so, how long? Did you make any lifestyle changes? Did you have to change medications? How long had you been taking your current medication? Did the switch work?

I've been looking at the online "do it yourself" programs. They seem so reassuring. Anyone ever try them? Did it work for you? I guess I have nothing to lose but $$$. If there was a "magic bullett", I would give my life savings for it right now!! giggle

Thanks.
