Q: medicare and plastic surgery?

I got a lap band on October 24th of 2007 and have managed to lose 107 lbs.

In addition I had four prior abdominal area surgeries and my stomach is in need of a serious lift.

Since Medi-care paid for 80 % of the lap band surgery does anyone know if it will help with this other surgery here in Missouri?

If not does anyone know of a surgical loan company that will help someone with poor credit?

Yes they (surgical loan) may and interest rates will be high.

And Medicare will NOT cover surgery if not medically necessary and removing excess skin is not covered.

FYI: Medicare would pay 80% of the ALLOWED charges not 80% of the BILLED charges. Big difference.
