Hysterectomy Answer A24770
Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. Total hysterectomy is complete removal of the uterus including the corpus and cervix. You have not mentioned whether this total hysterectomy was done along with bilateral salpingooopehrectomy(removal of fallopian tubes and ovaries on both sides).

If salpingoopercetomy was done then ovaries cannot grow back.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
