Is it the same as cardiomyopathy?

Cardiomyopathy is a general term for any heart disorder. It is usually used when the precise diagnosis or cause for heart failure is unknown or not sure enough.
Leaky heart valve is more defined condition. It means that some heart valve passes blood in wrong direction (regurgitation).
