Q: Medical causes of vomiting

My son is 18 and he has been in the hospital 6 times the past year with excessive throwing up. They have done all kinds of tests but cannot find anything. We just got out of the hospital thursday and now he's sick again. Help

There are various medical causes of vomiting such as gastritis, gastric ulcer, gall stones, gastric reflux or GERD, brain tumor, liver infection, obstruction to intestine, migraine, and hyperthyroidism.


18 year olds are very conscious of the way they look. Hence, it could be a case of induced vomiting or bulimia, in order to avoid weight gain and look slim. Please go through the list and see which cause has not been looked into at the hospital.
