Im only about 3 weeks pregnant and no one can seem to help me with getting an abortion as quickly as possible. I was told I would have to wait another two weeks before I could do a medical abortion.
SO what have been some of your expiriences with medical abortion and d&c?

I've been there
In April of 2008 I had a D&C done because I had A miscarriage, and let me tell you, it was very painful! NO anesthesia was used; But there was nothing else I could do; I had expelled the embryo, but not the placenta.
I got pregnant again, but this time I did not want to continue with this pregnancy, and had the medical abortion done in August. I took 1 pill by mouth, and 2 days later inserted 3 pills in my vagina. I was 9 weeks pregnant at the time. There was a whole lot more bleeding than when I had the miscarriage, but, it was not as painful as when Ihad the D&C done. I did have some cramping, but Tylenol helped stop the pain.
In my opinion, you don't have to wait that long for the medical abortion; actually the sooner the better. And I was told that a medical abortion could be done up to 9 wks. of pregnancy.
Just be sure that you know that you really want to do this, so that later on you won't have any feelings of regret.
And hang in there! I'm sure that whatever you choose will be fine.
