I'm wondering if moderate cramping is normal 4 days after? I took the 4 misoprostal on Saturday. I was 7 weeks. Within a half hour after putting them in my cheeks I felt sick and havy cramping. The bleeding started about an hour later. Very heavy for a couple hours, now it's like a normal period. Everything seems to have gone right, but I still feel cramps. Iv never had them before this so I don't know if I'm supposed to still have a little pain

jbits- moderate cramping is perfectly normal just 4 days after- i had slight cramping all the way until the bleeding stopped (about ten days for bleeding to stop for me) it can last up to 3 weeks- so far you're normal-- best of luck and i hope this helped

Pending Medical Abortion!
Thanks to all of you wonderful ladies, I feel more confident than ever in my decision to go forward with a medical abortion. I read the horror stories and almost had a nervous breakdown and considered the alternative... a surgical procedure.

I'm scheduled to take Mifiprex on Wednesday... I'll update my experience with Misoprostol and hopefully, I'll be of inspiration to other young women, as well!

God bless!

gatorfan..have you considered that maybe your having a nervous breakdown about aborting.. not the surgery? i dont find anyone as an insperation who has an abortion, i find them selfish...and they lady that said she was 7 weeks, do you realize that your baby had buds.. which is arm and legs and was already moving inside your belly... you guys are horrible.. your killing human children.. human lifes.. when u get pregnant your babys hearbeat starts beating as soon as it attaches to your uterus... you could have had that child and found the unconditional love for the baby or gave it to someone who cant have children and could give them a better life than you could have...sounds to me that you cant put someone elses life above your own...i never knew the term unconditional love until i had my children...things happen for a reason.. maybe all of you got pregnant so it would change the direction of your life..god has a plan for everyone and i dont believe it consists of killing off human life...

Everyone here who is speaking up to help everyone else going through similar situations ARE INSPIRATIONS- i shared my story with everyone and am open about and answer everyone's questions because I know how confused and scared they are, I know that they have tons of questions racing through their minds every second- I went through that experience without this help and answers and the feeling of support. I too would have called anyone who answered any of my questions and showed support to me "an inspiration."
You may not agree with abortion- but if someone is going to have an abortion- insulting these women will not prevent them from having an abortion- so save your opinions- I am merely trying to help these women who have already decided to have an abortion or who already have, by explaining what happens after an abortion or what to expect before- not once have I given my opinion on the actual issue, so why should you? YOU SHOULDNT.

And you have no idea as to the reasons why any of these women here have chosen an abortion- you pathetically assumed that we all did it for slefish reasons- you have no idea of the thoughts and emotions that ran through my head before and after
NOR IS IT ANY OF YOUR CONCERN. I made my choice based on my unique situation and circumstances- it was a difficult and scary time so I'm trying to let others know what to expect because they already made their choices- i am not convincing anyone to do anything- I'm helping women who already made a choice
So if you are trying to persuade or convince anyone of anything than you need to post your opinions on the proper forum.

I took the first pill yesterday at the clinic and was sent home w/ 4 misoprostal tablets to be injested orally. I took an anti-nausea pill one hour prior to the misoprostal and pain pills half hour prior. When it was time i placed the 4 misoprostal into my cheeks and let them dissolve for 35 minutes (30 was the recommendation, but they felt large still so i did and extra 5 minutes). I then drank some water and "attempted" to swallow the remainder of the pills and immediately vomited. I hope enough of the pills were soaked up into my system to get this thing moving. It's been almost and hour and i don't have any miscarriage like symptoms yet....please, please let this work.
