Hey guys, I'm new to this board and I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I had a medical abortion 3 weeks ago. I was only about 4/5 weeks pregnant. I had literally just missed my period a few days before, took a test and it came out positive, although I knew from a week before I missed my period that I was pregnant. Because it was so early, my dr. said that the bleeding my not be as intense, but to expect heavy bleeding for the first 24 hours and subsequent spotting for maybe up to 3 weeks. I had intense cramping and bleeding the first night as he said and random spotting over the past 3 weeks. A few days after the procedure I went in for a vaginal ultrasound and he said there was nothing in my uterus. (Although from researching I know that as early as 5 weeks you may not be able to see anything on an ultrasound, not even a gestational sac? Someone can correct me on this)

However, I've noticed that my pregnancy symptoms have been getting worse. Initially I had really bad breast tenderness which have gone down, but now I am extremely tired, bloated and have really bad bouts of nausea. I called my Dr. who suggested I take another pregnancy test and low and behold it came back positive. I know that hormone levels take a while to pan out, and it's only been 3 weeks but i'm really concerned about the pregnancy symptoms. He suggested I come in for another ultrasound tomorrow but i'm so worried I can't sleep.

Can anybody help??

Thanks alot.
