That Sucks. I am so sorry you have to go through that. Parents who are alcoholic have to be so hard to deal with.

i think the first thing you have to realize is that you cannot change her; you can only change yourself. Encourage her to get help but it's not your fault if she doesn't.

i would also contact a group called Al-Ateen-it's for teens/ friends and family members of an alcoholic. They can help you learn tocope and build a support system. It is completely anonymous. http://www.al-anon.alateen.org/english.htm l

Good luck, stick it out until you are eighteen, go to college and don't let your mom's illness rule your life.
