I ruptured the medial ligament in my right knee playing football. I had a full leg plaster cast on for 6 weeks and it was removed yesterday. The doctor has suggested an MRI scan which could take upto a month for an appointment. I can only bend my knee a small amount and guessed that this was due to having my leg in a cast for 6 weeks. Is this normal? Any ideas on how to get more movement from the joint?
