I think masturbation isn't really wrong unless it takes over one's life. Cuz biologically, a guy needs to get rid of old sperm every once in a while through masturbating. And besides, its a part of every boy's growth during puberty

Women should not be allowed to masturbate. EVER.

I don't think the original poster is going to respond anymore, so should somebody toss this in the gutter?

"ummmm you're wrong. end of story. notice in the bible it also says "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" and that all sin is forgivable. And the only requirement to be a Christian is to believe in Christ. Because a Christian is a follower of Christ, not a perfect person. God knows everyone has sinned and knows that we will all continue to sin. Jesus is the ONLY person who has or ever will live without sin. "

This is a good response.

The "CCC" defines masturbation not so much a sin as morally disordered, although i believe there maybe sin that resides within mnd regarding the object of desire.

homerx, if you haven't already, meet Guest. He's our Catholic perspective on here. I'm sure you'll learn a lot from him (whether you believe it or not, he's swimming in knowledge).

Haven't seen you in awhile, guest. I hope you've been well.

I love rollercoasters! You need the downs to have the ups and vice versa. It's great!

Okay, you clowns. Enough already. (Hi, Homey. Love you, my baby)

I think it is quite admirable that a 16 year old is more concerned with his religion than with drugs etc.

Dijon, I personally don’t agree with a previous poster who said that the Bible was written by men. It was written by God. Moses did not part the seas - God did. Nor was it the disciples that raised the dead and healed the sick - it was God.
If you drink a nice milkshake you don’t think: Wow! That straw was nice! You think the milkshake was nice. God uses humans as straws. He lets His power work through us, just the way He did when the Bible was written. But reading the Book means nothing if you don’t know the Author.
You say that you believe in Christ, but you aren’t “Christ-like” and you only worship with your lips. There is nothing easier than being Christian. All you have to do is to have a personal relationship with Him.

Believing in Christ is not enough. As you know Satan believes in Him, and I don’t think its going to do him any good. Talk to God. He is your best friend, your confidante and the One who loves you more than you can fathom.

Be careful of judging others with comments like “I would like Christians to respond, and if you think you’re Christian but believe masturbation is okay you are not a Christian.” There’s enough non-believers judging Christians already. Lol.
