I am not any new medication, only the one I have been on for years. It does not hurt, but is uncomfortable when I look down. I do need to make an appointment with an ENT, I was just hoping that this would go away. I have researched this on the internet to the point that I driving myself crazy. I had a similar mass under my right rib cage that turned out to a lyphoma, I wonder if this is something like that. I do smoke and that makes me worry about cancer. I just need to get the courage up to make an appointment to get it checked out.

It's possible that your lymph nodes are swollen, which would indicate an infection. I'd suggest that you make an appointment, and take the actions that you need to. It's better knowing than being in the dark!
