I have this yellowish "mass" on the bottom of my right tonsil. Looks like a blister almost the size of a dime. My PCP took one look and said it was a Bacterial Exudate and prescribed antibiotics, they did not work. he prescribed a different antibiotic. it also did not work. I decided to go to the E.R. last night and the Doc said she did not know what it was and it was a "mass" and not an infection. I have no insurance so they did not run any tests Sad....I have an appointment with the E.N.T doc on Monday....but I wanted to know if anyone has had this or heard of what it may be? I do not have any pain in my throat, except for the sensation of having a piece of hair stuck back there. I also have some ear pain, but before I started the 2 rounds of antibiotics my ears were way worse. sometimes when I would talk they would sound like "blown speakers" if that makes sense. I now just have a dull pain in the right one (same side as mass). Another thing, is that I get a fizzing sound in the back of my neck/base of skull sometimes when my stomach makes that "hunger bubble" <
