I am a 36 yr. old w/f, a year and a half ago I was sent for a CT Scan due to one problem and ended up having more problems. My main concern is that the doctor found a "Incidental Pericardial Cyst" measurements are 3.2x2.1 cm. I was told that this cyst is inside the sack surrounding my heart. I was sent to a heart specialist where I had a stress test, and a few other tests (pics.& ultrasounds?. He told me it looks okay for now but I would need a follow up in one year (CT scan). My husbands medical coverage was changing so my primary dr. suggested having the CT scan earlier. Unfortunately, I learned that the cyst has grown. I am now going for my 3rd CT Scan and am more worried now then ever. Do you have any idea what this is and I am right being concerned (considering I was told it was nothing to worry about)?
