In most part of the world, marriage is chosen by the boy or girl him/herself. In India the tradition of parents chosing a life partner is still in practice.

Thought the aspects looked upon differ, still its successful. If you have time just visit the Indian matrimonial website where you will see a difference from the data gathered and the approach given for identification of partners.

Some websites also do a identification verification, which helps the parents.

Which one is correct, parents chosing or boy/girl chosing is all dependent on their fate.
