Hello!
I am 34 years old and for quite a few months, I have been having a mixture of different types of stools. I normally go once a day, but I may skip a day sometimes..
Sometimes I have very dark and loose ones (no shape), others quite light in colour and thin, others very smelly ones, and others very firm thick ones but always living a mark on the toilet. I also get diarrhoea all of a sudden where I have to rush to the toilet but it is never watery.. the thing is that I can have completely different types of stools from one day to the other.
I also have quite a lot of wind.

Lately I am also getting pains on my stomach which are similar to being extremely hungry but the pain moves on to each side of my stomach (not in the ovaries). It is all very strange and I have been ignoring it for too long. However, I am making an effort and eating cereals in the morning, vegetables and fruit every day and avoiding high fat cheeses and take soya instead than milk, drink quite a lot of water, etc
My Dr said that it may be due to moving countries, but I have already been here for a while and it cannot be that.
I donīt know if I should worry or let it go to see what happens.

Any advice would be appreciated as I am quite lost as I donīt have a pattern..

Thanks!!!
E

Extremely eHealthy
Soft, foul-smelling stools mean increased fat in the stools, resulting from high fat meals or pancreas diseases with decreased lipase or bile salts.
Changed form and frequency of bowel movements with crampy abdominal pain and bloating can indicate irritable bowel syndrome.
If you are perimenopausal or menopausal woman, make a gynecological exam.
Recent changes in defecation in menopausal women may result from gynecological problems.

Best wishes!
