WPW syndrome (Wolff Parkinson White syndrome) is a curable condition with an ablation technique. However, if the patient's symptoms are minimal and can be controlled with medication - then this is a satisfactory approach. The WPW presence does not itself predispose to cardiac problems in the absence of significant prolonged tachycardia (rapid heart rate).
