I had one of my testes removed when I was a child and the other was left in my groin. Doctors were unable to bring it down. I had to have 20 years or so of hormones to help me grow, but the steroids made me quite ill. I am also in-fertile as a result.
The teste left in my groin has begun to cause me problems and the doctors say that it should now be removed, which means that I will have to go onto male HRT for the rest of my life. I am interested to know if there are any side effects to this and if anyone else has experienced similar.
