I understand you are wondering the cause of your malaise and how to avoid it. There are many possible reasons for this and it can be a symptom of depression. You can speak with a therapist to discover why you are experiencing malaise and how you personally can avoid it. You can also try scheduling pleasurable activities in each day and noting whether this affects your mood.
