last november i was diagnosed with an enlarged gallbladder- and they said it could be the beginning of liver failure( i have other health issues.
I have a constant pain and comfortableness at all times now. Before it was only after eating, or eating certain things. I am swollen/bloated/distended in whole abdomen all the time- sometimes larger than others(looks like i am 4-5 months pregnant most of the time),the ribs/ribcage is irritated all the time with pressure upon and under it, sick and tired alot.
Honestly, i thought that as with most of my health issues, i could make it better by eating right, exercise, etc. But that is not the end result here..for i cannot bend well most of the time, and have to bend sideways/backwards alot to try to relieve it- it doesnt work. i am at the point where it makes no difference as to what i eat or drink, it irritates gallbladder and bloats/distends whole abdomen- more so than is before hand. Like i said, it is constant now. Heather

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

From the description of your symptoms and investigation findings, it seems that you may be having cholecystitis , which is a condition of inflamed gall bladder mostly as a result of gall stones.

Since the conservative management has not helped in relief of the symptoms, you might consult with your doctor or a gastroenterologist, for the need for surgery.

Surgery might be the right option in your case to resolve all your distressing symptoms.
