I am in the Army and a little over a year ago i got to my new duty station and my hip was hurting me so badly. I went to the TMC(troop medical clinic) and got it checked out. Well they gave me a profile which limits my duties so my hip can rest. Well ive been to the TMC countless of times and they keep throwin me around to different doctors i practically know all of them my name and face. It started in my right hip and now its in my left hip as well. Its not a real sharp pain but its a dull and aggravating pain. I cant lay on my sides AT ALL it hurts soo bad. I cant run or do situps anymore. Its progressively getting worse to where when it starts hurting i have to shorten my steps to keep from sharp pains running through my leg and hip. I live on the 3rd floor and just walkin up the stairs makes my legs so tired. They get heavy but nothin else gets tired just my hips. And now im noticing that my knees are giving me problems as well. I just have no clue whats goin on. Theyve told me is was Illiotibial Band Syndrome then another dr. said it was Bursistis then another dr. said it was Trochanteric Bursitis. So now im goin to see the Orthopedic people then an MRI. I hope they tell me something. If youve had similar symptoms please let me know. thanks
