Lymph Nodes in the Groin Area

How long does it take for lymph nodes go down in your groin area? Mine is swollen for about a month now.

If lymph nodes have enlarged due to infection or inflammation, it can take several months for them to shrink after the infection has resolved.

Lymph nodes that continue to enlarge (particularly if there are multiple, painless enlarged lymph nodes) for more than 6 to 8 weeks should probably be biopsied to rule-out chronic infections or lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes).
