i just had surgery to get ahernia removed and while he was taken it out he realized my lymph node was swollen and removed it from my pelvic area why would he remove it and why would it be swollen?? Confused

The node may have looked unusual to the surgeon so he removed it. It should have been sent for a biopsy so call his office and inquire about this. You should ask him the rationale for removing the lymph node. He can tell you why he did.
