I have been suffering from LNTB since last four months. Presently I am taking AKT3.
But my doc is asking for PCR and Bactec. Should I go through this? Because I have already taken AKT4 for first two months and AKT3 for next two months.
My FNAC report says two possibilities: i) non caseating tuberculosis , ii) sarcoidosis.
MT skin test is positive 12mm. But ESR is 15, Chest is clean, IgG IgA IgM all are negative, Angiotensin Converting Engyme(Serum) is 49.

So once again my question is should I really go for PCR and Bactec ?
