I have a pea sized lump in my lymph node in front of my ear. I had been having major "earaches" and headaches for the last 3 months. I had the ear checked out several times, and there was no swelling or indication of infection inside. About 2 weeks ago, I found the lump, it was painful to the touch. I went to the doctor again, who put me on antibiotic. I've been on it for about a week and there is no change in the size of the lump. I do follow up in another week; however I would like to know what else it could be if it's not infection (as determined by not reacting to the antibiotic)?
