can a tick live inside your body after it bites you?

hello im not sure being from uk but i do know can leave a nasty infection after a bite...any redness or swelling have a doctor check it out.

Ticks never enter the body. They latch on with their mouth bits and hang there until they are done feeding. Then they detach.
