I have been on birth control since August.
I was first put on Lutera, which didn't
cause my periods to be lighter, but I
spotted the whole 3 months so I was
switched. I was switched to Ortho Cyclen
which stopped the spotting but made my
face break out so I again switched to
Ortho Tri-Cyclen and this being my first
month on it, it was great. Hardly any
cramps. My period started Sunday night
which is normal since I've been on the
pill, but my periods have always been
heavy on or off birth control and this one
is a bit lighter. Is this normal? I ask
because nothing happened to it while I was
on the other pills. Thanks for your
replys.

YES it is normal.
Different pills have unique hormones and
differing levels. BC is supposed to make
your periods shorter and lighter That is the
goal/hope anyway

Its not that much lighter but I'm not
going through a super plus tampon in 4
hours like I was.
