Hi, I've been taking Lutera for 2 months
now and everytime I start a new pack,
within 3 days , I develop a cold sore on
my lip!! It happened last month and now
this one too! I can't eat or drink
anything with natural orange flavors in it
or I will get them - never fails!
If anyone has any suggestions or has
experienced the same problem please do let
me know. This is the first time this has
ever happened and I've been on several
different stronger birth control pills and
have only developed mood problems. This
pill doesn't give me any problems what so
ever except possibly the cold sore
business.
thanks!

Hmm....
I hate to say this, but I don't think you
can say yet if it's really from the pills.
If you've only been on it two months, it
could just be coincidence.
That being said, it still sucks that
you're getting cold sores!

try getting a prescription of Valtrex, i
know it is a genital herpe med. but you
wont get cold sores anymore, it helps with
fever blisters too.
