Q: lupus tests

i just had blood tests done for lupus and was told the lupus blood panel showed it was neg but positive for interpretation. when i asked what that met the clerk was unsure. can you tell me what that means?

You probably have a negative ana but the other markers for lupus were there...if you have 4 of the 11 standard sickness it is up to the doc to decide if its lupus. Not everyone has a positive ana...It is a helpful tool for doctor...lets say you have Lupus that involves the kidney but a negative ana test...you still have lupus. 10 million people have positive ana results...only 1 million have lupus...stats from the lupus foundation on america
