I had some q's regarding Lupus symptoms and diagnoses and thought I would ask here. Here are my symptoms: IN 2005 I was diagnosed with Mono. Since then I have had bouts of extreme fatigue, anemia,pains, fevers, dry mouth, etc. For the past 2 months,,, it is getting unbearable. I can barely get out of bed,, have lost some weight and some hair loss hard to breathe while lying in bed, the fevers have been sooo annoying and another wierd symptom is dark spots on my face and "hairy" tongue. My Doc thinks could be chronic fatigue, or fibro
I asked the Doc I work for to draw some labs,, I didnt process it,, and when I saw the results I was a little overwhelmed. His immediate thought was that i had Lupus. Here are some of the results:
Hematocrit was low : 34.6
Alkaline Phosphate : 27
and here is the confusing one
the ANa was NEG..........but the ANA CHOICE W/REFL TO TITER WAS POSITIVE... the lab slip said more tests should be done.
I am seeing rheumatologist next week,, and I just want some answers.
My work is suffering,, and so is my home life with my family. If anyone has any insights,, I would love to hear back. Thanks so much.
