I am 35 years old and when I was about 10 I was diagnosed with lupus. I have all the symptoms like muscle and joint pain, unexplained fevers, rash on scalp and arms, and legs, very sensitive to sunlight, stiffness, a immune system that cant fight off anything, and lots of fatigue.Sometimes I have days I wake up and I cant even move much less function through the day. It did not bother me much until about a year ago. Again with the fever, fatigue and all the other symptom's. I went to the doctor and she told me that it was lupus. After three positive ANA test she told me she was sending me to a rheumatologist. I get there and he tells me its not lupus it is fibromyalgia because my level was not extremely high. Do I need to get another specialist or could my family doctor be wrong?
