Hi my name is sharon, im 34 and had a baby 3 months ago. During my pregnancy I had a thrombophillia screening test and it emerged that i had a high lupus anticoagulant count and high white blood cell count, I was put on clexane and continued to take it until 6 weeks after the baby was born.

What I am worried about is that over the last 3 years i have had bad bouts of joint pains in my knees and on my last two pregnancies have come out in red patchy rashes over my arms and chest. I am constantly tired, eventhough the baby is now sleeping well and I have noticed a darkening of my skin over my nose and upper cheeks, not a rash but more like a pale birthmark. Ive been having very heavy menstrual cycles with clotting too. Should I push to have follow up blood tests done? I have read somewhere that there can be a link between lupus and raynauds syndrome, which I was diagnosed with when I was 18.

Any advice is welcomed, im confused because if it was pregnancy related surely the symptoms would clear up between pregnancies 3 years apart.
