Lupus and having kids

I'm 19 my boyfriend is also 19.
We talk about having kids so often He is aware that I have SLE & Vasculitis & is very concerned about me having kids.

He thinks that someday I am going to die & leave him alone with the kids to raise on his own & I've tried so hard to convince him that I'm doing good. I've even offered to take him to the doctors with me to talk about it..

I was just wondering, Is it okay for someone who has SLE to have kids?

*I've been in remission for two years & I am off all meds.
