I was diagnosed with a DVT after flying from england to australia... now every time i fly i have blood thinning injections... 1 for every 12 hrs!! my dr says i would be the least likely to get a clot due to the fact that im already aimin to prevent one... i always make sure that i walk every few hrs which is a lil annoying coz it intrupts m movie!!!
if ur dr is dead set certain u shouldnt fly then i would prob get another opinion... its hard coz ur disease could be extremely active and flying could be an issue but with some blood thinners on board and u being aware it could happen then i would say start gettin excited for ur holiday Smile

(i have flown 5 times from england to australia since my DVT and never had an issue. i also wear flying socks which would actually help reduce any swelling that u may have)
