My dad's doctor told me to send the pathology results to an other laboratory for doublecheckng it. Are there any chances that a lung cancer diagnosis might have been wrong? I asked the doctor the same question. He replied, there might be a very tiny chance to be so. Can you hel me,please? thanks a lot

spot on lung
I have a spot on my right lung that my doctor has been monitoring every 6 months. The spot has gotten a little bigger so she is sending me for yet another ct scan. Can a ct scan actually detect whether the spot is cancer?
