I have a lump on the back of my head. There is no reddness but feels itchy and bruised. Two days later I have another lump on the temple, again it feels bruised and itchy as well.
Could this be a bite.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

It is difficult to analyse a skin condition without a complete medical history and a visual examination of the lesion.

Usually insect bites do not occur near the same spot on different days. They can be multiple and can occur on different parts of the body.

The description of the lumps could be due to infection of the hair follicles, called foliculitis.

The other causes could be acne, carbuncle, etc.

You might apply cold packs to the area to soothe the area and reduce the itching sensation.

In addition consultation with your doctor or a dermatologist may help to get a proper diagnosis and specific treatment can be initiated accordingly.
