Q: Lump on top of left testicle

Hi, Yesterday I felt a small lump on the top of my left testicle, it's quite close to the cord that connects the testes to the penis (forgotten what its called) but it doesn't seem to be part of it. It moves a bit but it definately attached to it. I'm quite scared, does this sound like testicular cancer to anyone?

Impossible for me to say based only upon your description, although most such masses turn out to be benign (but not always).

Your doctor should examine you, and also order an ultrasound of your testicles (a referral to a urologist would be appropriate if either of these exams are concerning).

Well if it helps, I sometimes can't find it and it feels like a flap of skin that has been cut or something except it doesn really hurt at all.
Thanks anyway

hello doctor
... I have a follow up on your response to the above problem. my boyfriend has had a lump/bump on his left testicle, and has grown in size. it is a light yello/whiteish color. he says it does not bother him not hurt him. what could it be?
