Lump on right sternocleidomastoid

First off, I'm a 15 year old male. No problems that I know of. Healthy BMI of 21.3 (according to Wii Fit).

So I dunno how I found it, but I found a lump on my sternocleidomastoid. It's really close to my Ear, like I can stretch my ear and touch it easily. I've got a diagram, too. If you don't see an image, click here.

I circled where I think it is.

Now to describe the lump.

It doesn't hurt (not a good sign, if I recall correctly) (I can still feel pain there, though.)
It's not really visible.
It's smooth, not rough.
Probably about the size of one of those Mini M&M's (I don't know if they even still sell those...)
Can't move it.
Nothing irregular happening otherwise, it's just there.

Is this a cause for concern, or not?

Hard bump under my skin in front of right ear..?
I have the same thing...

Im 33 years old and ive never had a bump there.
Mine is in the same exact spot you circled and it feels a bit painful when i push on it.
it feels like a BB or something. it happened when i started taking amino acids along with my whole food vitamins. if its a tumor or something like it i know taking alkaline supplements can melt it. like turmeric and melatonin.

Im still trying to find out what it is and i have a doctors appointment next week so i will ask the doctor what it might be. im going to get it x-rayed too eventually and ill try to come back and post my results.

Keep me updated with yours too!

I have the same thing in the exact same location, but with pain
I have the same thing. Mine is a bit painful, though, which is why I know it is there. I am hoping it is cancer. I've had enough of this planet. I'm 47 and hoping this is it. It's like winning the lotto. PLEASE let it be cancer. I will save a fortune not going to a doctor. Someone with educated knowledge of this sort of thing, please tell me that it is likely cancer. If it is cancer, where can I expect to begin finding other bumps? Under my arm pit? My chest? My arms? Where?! I am SO hopeful. -- Thanks!
