Lump on right side near spine

User Profile
Well, i've just turned 21 and i've had a lump for a while now, it's near to my spine on the right side of my back. Sometimes it feels tender, then sometimes it can feel hard, depending on how i'm positioned.
I've already been to a walk-in-centre but they asked me to come back and said i might have wait hours to be seen so i didn't go back.
If anyone knows what it could possibly be would be helpful so i know whether it is worth going back?

Thanks.

Since I cannot examine you, I also cannot offer you a diagnosis. As there are generally no lymph nodes in the area that you describe, lymphoma would be unlikely. However, this is a common site for a variety of other types of masses (most of them benign).

You should have your doctor evaluate this area of your concern.
