Hey, this is my first time posting on here, so please be patient with me if I don't explain things very well. I'm 18, female. At the beginning of this year I had to start seeing a doctor about things like joint pain and tiredness, and they basically just dismissed my complaints. but now I have a lump on my neck, which I noticed about 3 or 4 weeks ago. It's in the middle of my neck and to the right slightly (not on side of neck but not in middle). It's not visually obvious (I don't think), but you can tell it's there when you touch it. Any ideas on what it could be? I was thinking about seeing a doctor about it next week sometime.
Thank you.

EDIT - I forgot to add that I get like.. a bubbling feeling in my chest, every now and then, which goes away when I take a deep breath in.. That's most likely not related, but I thought I should add it anyway.

My husband has been going through the same thing. Severe night sweats, chills, aching, leg pain, headaches, nervousnous, lump on neck. The doctor said he thinks he has an overactive thyroid. We are going for more test today. He is starting to feel really bad. My advice is go to the doctor and ask him to run a test on your thyroid. Good luck.
