hi there! i am a 22 year old female and i have a small lump on my right armpit...well it feels like the lump is under my skin but at the same time seems like the skin is lumpy. once i lift up my arm,you can see the lump. But the lump is painless. its hard to describe it. i am worried and i dont want to panic either. oh and i have a small dark spot where my lump is at and i do shave my underarms. i dont know if its a swollen gland because i have my menstrual. i dont know if i should wait to see if it goes away in a few days once my menstrual cycle is done. what can this be? Sad

Re: lump on my armpit
When i first read this, i was thinking of a swollen lymph node, but those are painful and usually associated with some type of infection. I'm not too sure what it could be. But definately watch it, and if it grows, make sure you see your doc. It is safe to keep an eye on it, You do not need to go to the doc right away. They will tell you the same thing, just watch it for awhile, and if it grows, go in, if it goes away, then good for you !! ahhaha..

Jenn, I wonder if you still read this forum. Because I have several questions to ask you.
